What the Companies House source is for
The source is designed for new-company discovery. It pulls active companies incorporated in the recent discovery window and transforms the raw Companies House data into reporting tables that can be used for dashboards, filters, tables and exports.

Analyse new companies by incorporation date, sector, business activity, town or city, postcode area, company type and company status.
Use dashboard tables
Bring the discovery output into the Datplan dashboard data table and filter by sector, region, postcode area, status and other available fields.
Research links created by the app
Datplan DataPull also creates useful research links for each company, including a Companies House profile link and a Google Search link based on the company name, company number and postcode. These links are designed to support further manual research rather than replace user review.

What this source does not provide

Public register data only
The source stays true to the Companies House public API and does not enrich records with third-party contact, domain, director, PSC, filing history or credit-risk datasets unless a future source explicitly supports that.
